Whole Child Therapy is a dynamic multi professional therapy service working as a social enterprise to offer high end therapy services to children and families that most need them. WCT is much more than a clinic, we work on national projects providing training and support to organisations such as the Ear Foundation, SeeAbility and the RNIB.

Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist

We are looking for an outstanding therapist who wants to develop a service of excellence. Working in schools and as part of a specialist clinic, the role will afford the candidate the chance to grow the service building a new clinic and extending the service for children and families. The training package for the right candidate is generous. Our team are driven by a passion to grow and to create a genuinely accessible service for all children. The role will provide the opportunity to treat daily, take part in research and develop a truly unique professional skill set.

  • Position located in Buckinghamshire.
  • Band 7/8 Equivalent - We are seeking a Specialised Paediatric Occupational Therapist, to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team.
  • We are looking for a creative, energetic and passionate candidate, with strong clinical skills, experience of delivering therapy and a good understanding of family focused therapy and support services.
  • As a social enterprise we are not only committed to meeting the needs of ALL children but we are also committed to the continuing development of the AHP's, our focus is not profit but providing meaningful therapy were it is needed, we have the same drive to support our clinical team so our package is competitive.
  • The role is salaried between £34,000 and £45,000 dependant on experience, with a generous holiday allowance as we know that a happy team is a productive team.
  • Flexible working available including term time only and job share contracts.

All candidates must have:

  • 4+ years post graduate experience, 3+ of which are in Paediatrics
  • Post graduate training in Sensory Integration and/or equivalent experience
  • Experience of working with children with ASD, ADHD, DCD, Dyspraxia, Sensory Processing Disorders, Dyslexia, Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy.
  • Confident in their clinical abilities and good communication skills.
  • Experience of providing training and supervision
  • A full driving licence and access to a car
  • Be prepared to travel nationally

  • Position located in Greenwich, London and Schools in Buckinghamshire
  • Band 5 Equivalent - We are seeking a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team.
  • We are looking for a creative, energetic candidate, with a strong academic record, a passion for delivering therapy and a good understanding of family focused therapy and support services.
  • As a social enterprise we are not only committed to meeting the needs of ALL children but we are also committed to the continuing development of the AHP's, our focus is not profit but providing meaningful therapy were it is needed, we have the same drive to support our clinical team so our package is competitive.
  • The role is salaried at £21'500 with a generous holiday allowance as we know that a happy team is a productive team.

All candidates must have:

  • Minimum 2:1 BSc (hons) degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience of working with children with ASD, ADHD, DCD, Dyspraxia, Sensory Processing Disorders, Dyslexia, Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy.
  • Excellent good communication skills.
  • A full driving licence and access to a car
  • Be prepared to travel nationally
  • An understanding of therapy provision as part of a school SEN package
